Its all a bit weird!!
On the 22nd March 2019 I made the decision to temporarily close the salon due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 Pandemic (Corona Virus). This is something that would be happening anyway after the Bars and Pubs were closed by the government. A lot of salons and hairdressers also made the decision to do the same, due to the fact that we work so closely with our clients that we would not be able to adhere to the 2metre social distancing restrictions.
Its has been such a hard time for everyone and I have also been homeschooling the kids. I am sure that some of you have also being doing the same thing. I don't know about you but, my nearly 10 year old has so much work that I have to mainly google and my 5 year old has more reading and basic maths to do, which is so much easier lol!
Although we are all going through a lot of change, what keeps me going is knowing that I will be able to get back to work when the restrictions are lifted. I miss all of my clients and the chats that we have. I didn't realise just how much you lot kept me sane. I enjoying sharing all the different nail techniques that I can do for your lovely nails and all the different lash options that I give to my clients. I miss being creative and having something to keep me mentally going. I have been able to have a few moments to myself to be able to keep practising and giving you lot a great deal of choice for your next appointment.
I just wanted to say how I miss everyone and I really feel completely lost without each and everyone of you. I hope that you are all managing to keep sane yourself and are looking after yourselves and your family. I look forward to the weekly Thursday clapping in the evening to be able to support all of the keyworkers that are out there and I know a few of my clients are keyworkers, from nurses to supermarket workers. Please know that me, Harry and Scarlett are all cheering for you and we think that you are doing a great job with everything, we are so proud of you all.
